Oh the Plank! What’s up with the plank?
The plank is an excellent exercises to have in your arsenal. Why? It gives you a good full-body workout because it engages you core, upper and lower body. Plus, you do not need any fancy equipment or a lot of space to perform this exercise.
How to Plank.
- Get into push up position on the floor (mat optional).
- Bend your elbows 90 degrees and rest your weight on your forearms.
- Hold this position for as long as you can!
Please make sure your elbows are directly beneath your shoulders and that your body forms a straight line from your head to your feet.
