What’s Up with the Plank?

Oh the Plank!  What’s up with the plank?

The plank is an excellent exercises to have in your arsenal. Why? It gives you a good full-body workout because it engages you core, upper and lower body. Plus, you do not need any fancy equipment or a lot of space to perform this exercise.

  1. Get into push up position on the floor (mat optional).
  2.  Bend your elbows 90 degrees and rest your weight on your forearms.
  3. Hold this position for as long as you can!

Please make sure your elbows are directly beneath your shoulders and that your body forms a straight line from your head to your feet.
